Personal data we collect
Data you give us through contact and volunteer forms: name, email, optional telephone number, area of interest and message content. Membership data, if you become a member, as required by the Finnish Associations Act (503/1989).
Purposes and legal basis
Responding to inquiries (legitimate interest, GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)); coordinating volunteering (consent, Art. 6(1)(a)); maintaining the membership register (legal obligation, Art. 6(1)(c)).
Retention
Inquiries are kept for up to 12 months after the matter is closed. Volunteer data is kept while you volunteer and deleted within 12 months after. Membership data is kept as required by law.
Security
Access is limited to persons responsible for the matter. Data is not sold or transferred for marketing. Processors are bound by data processing agreements.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase and restrict processing of your data, to object, to data portability and to withdraw consent. You may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
